Each year, the Bellevue Public Schools Foundation is honored to award classroom grants up to $1500 each to teachers seeking to add innovative and enriching programs in their classrooms that fall outside of district budget parameters.
In 2021, despite funding shortfalls due to COVID-19 related challenges, BPSF was fortunate to be able to offer $20,000 in grants to more than 30 teachers funding initiatives like an elementary school sensory hallway, middle school robotics equipment, podcasting technology for high school journalism students and so much more. These speciality programs enhance curriculum and spark creativity in dynamic ways.
Now through September 30, BPS Foundation is accepting applications for the 2021 – 2022 classroom grant cycle. Eligibility and usage rules, along with the online application are available here. The Classroom Grants Committee will meet in early October; late applications will not be accepted.
